Her request brings back memories of when he faced a similar ordeal of fighting to save his family on the mountain.

Determined to help the girl, Zach plunges into a new adventure dealing with child abduction and slavery that takes him further and further from his original goal. It becomes an unexpected turn that could change his life and his love.

I’ve been waiting for this sequel since I finished Walker’s Trail, and it’s finally here! I read it in one day, and absolutely love the way the author shows Zach’s character in the decisions he makes. Zach has another treacherous adventure that had my heart racing at times, sure that there was no way he would get out alive. But Zach uses the lessons he learned in Walker’s Trail, along with skills taught to him by his Grandfather and uncles, to pull through and keep going. He has a mission, after all. And Walker’s don’t give up. I’m happy with the way the story closed, as it leaves an opening for a possible third book, should the author consider doing one. And I hope he does!
