Found this book and author accidently, I'm sure glad I did. A family living in Georgia decide to move to Tennessee, although the time of year to make that journey is not wise. The husband/ father won't take good advise. The family finds hardship and some evil backwards mountain folk. Great Read during post Civil War time.
